When we did the experiment on the first week, we found out that the plants could not have nutrient water but distilled water, and thus the plants died. We replace the plants and started our alternate trip to the lab.We use a piece of string for measuring the stem and counted the number of leaves. We concluded that the some hormones gave the plants extra lifespan

During the course of the project, we faced problems such as irregular measurements, due to team members availability. So, we ask the lab assistant if we could come every two days, and she said the hormones could last for two days.

Apparatus and Materials Needed:
1. Naphthaleneacetic acid
2. Naphthoxyacetic acid
3. Kinetin
4. Benzylaminopurine
5. Weighing scale
6. Ruler
7. String
8. Measuring cylinder
9. Four bottles

Experimental Procedure Setup:
1. Buy 4 pots of plants.
2. Take 0.1g of each type of
growth hormones.
3. Dissolve 100ml of water in the
four bottles with the different hormones.
4. Pour the same amount of solution in
four pots of plants.
5. Water them regularly withe the dissolve
solution of the four different hormones.
6. Observe them for two weeks.
7. Measure the leaves and stem with the
ruler and string everyday to check if the plants grew.
8.Record the growth of plants in a table everyday.

Independent Variable(changed): The hormones.

Dependent Variable(what is observed): The growth of plants

Controlled Variables (Constants):

1 .location of the plants.2.type of plants.3.amount of time for the plants to grow.4.amount of water given.5.amount of hormones given
